Microdosing CBD oil

For users who want a constant effect of CBD oil, taking high doses is not the way. Instead, divide your dose into microdoses. You divide your dose according to the amount of CBD and not oil. The amount of CBD is labeled in Mg, while oil is in Ml on the packaging.

Consumers use CBD oil to elevate mood, enhance sleep, or as a cosmetic to remove acne, and some for recreational purposes. To achieve one’s goal of using CBD oil, one needs to have an optimal dose and method of taking CBD oil. Most companies provide a dosage plan and method, but this may not work for all consumers because of the differences in tolerance to CBD. Different problems require unique methods and doses. Microdosing CBD oil is one of the many unique ways of taking CBD oil, and it heightens its benefits.

What’s Microdosing CBD Oil?

Microdosing refers to dividing CBD oil doses so that users can spread it throughout the day. If a consumer takes 50mg of CBD oil, divide it into 10mg. This means one will take the dose 5 times with 10mg of CBD oil. For a higher dose, divide it into high microdoses for practicality. The effect of CBD in microdosing is long-lasting than that dosed at once. Microdosing gives your body a consistent supply of cannabinoids that the body can produce more. This method is best for those who need a boost of endocannabinoids with severe health challenges.

How to Microdose CBD Oil Effectively

To microdose CBD oil, consumers need to understand that CBD oil has two measurements; ml and mg. ML is for the oil and Mg for the CBD. To know the amount of CBD per serving, divide the total Mg of the bottle and the total number of servings. A 30ML CBD oil bottle of 1500MG 1ML of serving that can be at least 50MG of CBD. If you are using a dropper to take CBD oil, it’s important to know the total strength of CBD in each drop. If there are 24 drops in 1ML of 50MG, each drop has at least 2.1MG of CBD. Take one drop of CBD oil with 2.1MG instead of 50MG every hour. One can directly take the drop as a tincture or add it to your drink. To benefit from microdosing, develop a CBD microdose chart or set a reminder on your phone on when to take the next dose. A simple chart will look like this, 8 am -1 drop, 9 am – 2 drops, 10 -3 drops, and so on until you finish your drops.

Uses of CBD Oil

Soothing Anxiety, Stress, and Depression

When the body’s levels of serotonin drop, one is likely to feel anxious or stressed. Serotonin is a body chemical that regulates functions like mood. Stress can also be a sign of your body adjusting to a change. If anxiety and stress are not soothed, they can develop into depression. Use CBD oil to soothe anxiety and stress because CBD binds with ECS receptors reducing the rate at which serotonin breaks down, as Shannon et al. (2019) reported. Microdosing can be very effective if you use CBD oil for anxiety and stress.

Relieving pain and inflammation

According to Argueta et al. (2020), CBD binds with ECS receptors like anandamide, providing natural pain relief. But, the lifespan of anandamide is short; taking CBD will slow it down from breaking. CBD can be used on different kinds of pain like chronic pain, back pain, and nerve pain.CBD oil used for pain and inflammation is topical; microdosing it will ensure a constant effect of CBD on the pain. Topicals take at least 2hours to kick in; taking another dose after an hour will mean that the effect is constant.

Aiding Sleep

Quality sleep is affected by insomnia. At least 7hours of undisturbed sleep characterize quality sleep. It is difficult to sleep if one is in pain, stressed or anxious; insomnia can also be caused by medication. One can use CBD oil to aid sleep when insomnia is caused by pain, stress, or anxiety. CBD also binds with melatonin receptors to prevent it from breaking. Melatonin is responsible for the dark-light cycle. CBD oil induces calmness which can induce sleep.

Treating of Seizures

Sekar& Pack (2019)noted that the FDA approved Epidiolex as a form of treatment for two rare genetic seizures, Dravet and Lennox-gestalt, for individuals above age 3.

Helps in Withdrawal Symptoms

Berg et al. (2020) showed that CBD oil could help withdrawal symptoms in those who have stopped smoking. The common symptoms are anxiety, insomnia, and depression. Using CBD will help control the urge to smoke again under these conditions.

Helps to Quit Smoking

CBD oil can help curb withdrawal symptoms like anxiety, depression, and insomnia. When withdrawal symptoms become stronger, they increase the urge to smoke. With CBD, these symptoms will not overpower you.

Is CBD Legal

CBD is legal if it is extracted from hemp plants and the final product has 0.3% THC. In the USA, CBD is legal, but each state has its CBD rules. Many states like California have legalized CBD, and in others like Alabama, CBD is for medicinal use only; Tennessee allows CBD with THC of 0.6%. In Europe, CBD is legal in most countries. You can check with your local authorities for the legality of CBD in your country.

Conclusion

Microdosing CBD oil is the best way to benefit from CBD oil. You get a constant effect of CBD when you divide your dose into potions. The effect of a full dose can last for a few hours. Before microdosing, you have to find your optimal dose by starting with a small dose and gradually increasing it. Microdosing is more of the amount of CBD in every ML of oil you take. You can read the instruction to find the amount of CBD in every 1ML of oil, or you can do a few calculations. Finally, you can develop a chart or set reminders on your smartphone on when to take the next microdose.
